1.Terms of use

The Salty Biscotti Shop, here after referred to as the “COMPANY” specializes in the B2C e-commerce (e-shop) of products related to photography activities for professional users or amateur enthusiasts.

The COMPANY reserves the right to freely modify or revise the terms and conditions of use of the e-shop and transactions thereto, whenever it deems it necessary, and undertakes to inform consumers of any change through the pages of this e-shop.

Each visitor or customer recognizes and accepts all assumptions and terms herein and only on this condition proceeds to an order or transaction.

2.Limitation of liability

The COMPANY in the context of its transactions from the online store makes on the basis of good faith, every effort for the proper execution of transactions. The COMPANY declares that it is not responsible and is not liable for compensation for any damage or damage resulting from the cancellation of orders under the terms of use and operation of the e-shop, similarly due to their non-execution or delay in execution, for any reason.

The online store provides its content in terms of products and services (e.g. information, description, names, photos, illustrations).

The COMPANY, it declares that it is not liable civilly or criminally for any damage (positive, specific or consequential, which indicatively and not restrictively, is a loss of profits; data, lost profits, financial satisfaction, etc.) which may be suffered by a customer or visitor to the e-shop or by a third party for a reason related to product information and description, product availability indication, product operation or non-operation and/or use of the website and/or the inability to provide services and/or products and/or information made available by it and/or any unauthorized interference by third parties with product/service information and/or information made available through it.

3.Intellectual property rights

All content in the COMPANY’s e-shop, including distinctive titles, marks and logos, product designs, images, graphics, photographs, drawings, texts, etc. constitute the intellectual property of the COMPANY and are protected in accordance with the relevant provisions of Greek and European law and international conventions.

4.Products use

The products exhibited and sold in our e-shop have been selected and are intended for serving only as photography accessories and props for setting up your photo scenery and they are not intended for other purposes such as for example cooking and serving food.

Especially, with regards to the metallic cutlery (forks, knives, spoons, etc.) and the metallic dishes, trays and discs, we recommend that you not use them for cooking and food serving. Avoid ovena and heat exposion, food serving and dishwashing.  Special treatment for these products may be required, for cleaning and storage.

5.Prices policy

The COMPANY may change the prices of the products and services offered at any time, without prior notice to the customer (except in cases where it is bound for a specific product/service pricing for a certain period of time such as an offer advertised for a specific period of time without the term ‘until stocks run out’, etc.). Placing a product in the “basket” of the user of the online store indicates the customer’s interest in that product only and does not constitute an order or purchase of the item. Therefore, the price of a product/service is likely to change freely even if the product or service is placed in the user/customer’s cart. The price is finalized by the acceptance (and not just receipt) of the order by the COMPANY.

6.Products Guarantee

All products in The Salty Biscotti Shop, come with a 24month guarantee from the date of product reception from the client (delivery date) against product defects, under normal use and conditions. The guarantee covers below cases:

• The product cannot be used as usual.
• The product functionalities do not correspond to the description given in The Salty Biscotti Shop description content.

This guarantee does not cover defects and deterioration of the products due to abnormal use of the products or wear and tear of the products due to normal use.

7.Order cancellation

After your order placement, you have the right to cancel your order by sending us within the next 24 hours from the time of order placement, a written email to the address sales@thesaltybiscottishop.com, including your order reference number (ordef ID).

Partial product cancellation is not possible. If you want to cancel specific products, you will have to cancel all you order and place a new order.

After submitting your order cancellation request, we will contact you and will refund your amount paid within the next 3 to 5 working days from written cancellation order submittance.

8.Product return policy

Product Return is valid only for customers within the European Union.

You can return the product or products purchased and delivered to you, within 14 calendar days from the delivery date. We accept only the return of unopened and unused products, in their original packaging.

For returning a product you will have to:

1. send a written email to the address sales@thesaltybiscottishop.com, including your product return request and the order reference number (order ID) and the products to be returned,
2. send the products to be returned on your own charge via post services to Athens, Greece. The exact address will be given to you via email correspendence.

Upon reception of your product return request, we will come back to you in written correspondence within the next 3 to 5 working days, for arranging the processes of returning the products and refunding your amount paid.

For orders within Greece:

We’ll arrange a pickup date and time via email, to receive the products. Once we receive the products, in original condition, we’ll send you a confirmation email and we will refund your amount paid for the returned goods to the same credit card used to make the original purchase, within the next 15 days. Shipping charges cannot be refunded and shipping cost of the products returned will have to be covered by you.

For orders in the European Union (apart from Greece):

We strongly recommend that you use registered post services with a tracking number, to ensure that the products returned won’t get lost. We are not responsible for packages shipped to us.

Once we receive the products, in original condition, we’ll send you a confirmation email and we will refund your amount paid for the returned goods to the same credit card used to make the original purchase, within the next 15 days. Shipping charges cannot be refunded and shipping cost of the products returned will have to be covered by you.

9.Customs, import duties and taxes

In some cases, your products may be subjected to customs inspection in accordance with your local authorities and legislation and duties and taxes may be applied to your products ordered, depending your local legislation.

If taxes and/or duties are incurred, you will be responsible for covering all related fees before delivery can proceed.

10.Third party links

Our website may contain links to other websites. We are not responsible for their content, accuracy, products or the protection of privacy.
